One of my clients from GetAFreelancer.com, Sunil originally asked me to show him a mock up, so I made this site to show him I knew what I was doing. The design itself was completed in 5 hours, working off and on of course. Coding was originally scheduled for 7 days, but sunil needed the template finished sooner, so I finished it in 3 days which was 4 days ahead of schedule.

Template was liscensed to Sunil under a Non-Exclusive liscense, so I still have the rights to redistribute this content.

This is one of my "I'm bored" projects, I found a great color scheme on Adobe Kuler and went with it. The logo was made from scratch and the font I just fell in love with so I used it. I also noticed that after finalizing this template, that it's layed out more like a blog for the page that's being displayed. I figure that I will make this into a full site sometime and probably make the stationary with it. I don't know yet, at this stage, I'll live with what I got.

However, this is one of my few projects that actually made it to the coding stage and got completed. However, at this period I was also reading into SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and noticed that full flash based sites have a hard time being indexed by search engines. So I bet you can guess what happened next... yep, I trashed the project, but hey, I still got the PSD file :D

Needless to say I didn't really sit back and ponder on what they actually needed rather than what they wanted. First we setup a site with OS Commerce, however, once the site was up she noticed that after adding features and such, it was much better if customers just came into the store. So we elected to go with a complete flash site that was SEO friendly. It was hard work and took about 30 days to complete due to me holding a full time job also, but it was really worth it after I was done.
